AMC Launches AMC Theatres On Demand

Another contender of the streaming service

AMC Entertainment has launched its own streaming service. Movie fans will be able to rent and buy films for viewing at home with the service.

Users just need to log in with their AMC Stubs account or sign up for a free AMC Stubs Insider membership. They can then rent or buy movies and earn AMC Stubs points. After renting or buying movies users can watch at home or download to watch on the go. There are also no subscriptions for the service just pay as you go with a credit card or an AMC gift card.

The devices that AMC Theatres On Demand will be supported on are LG Smart TVs, Windows or Mac computers, Android or iOS mobile and tablet devices and Roku devices. It’ll also take around 60-90 days from whenever a movie releases in the theatres until it’s available on AMC Theatres On Demand.

For those interested in the service for a limited time on your first order users can rent/buy 3 select movies. If you purchase a rental you have 30 days to active the rental. Once you press play then the rental is available for 48 hours. Rentals also have the ability to get downloaded but only in that 48 hour period.
