PlayStation All Stars Battle Royals Sequel Rumors Continue To Circulate

I’m one of the few that enjoyed the attempt at a Sony exclusive brawler game that directly competed with Nintendo’s Super Smash Brothers. The game had obvious flaws but all in all it was FUN. Especially getting your friends and family together to play.

This year was the year when the rumor of a possible sequel arose. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first, but I kept hearing and seeing speculation of this rumor.

The leak comes from a supposed Capcom employee who posted the information on 4Chan, which hardly is a justified source, but nonetheless worth paying attention to solely for the curiosity factor. According to this user, Capcom USA is working on the game in collaboration with Sony, after the project was embarked and canceled multiple times throughout the PS4’s life cycle.

Possible characters in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2’s roster include Spider-Man PS4, Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn, Kratos from 2018’s God of War, and even Spyro and Crash, in light of their recent return to gaming thanks to the Crash N.Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

My main questions are; Is it too late for this release? Does anyone still care? Is there a market for another brawler game?

Let us know what you think.
