At Samsung Unpacked, the company announced its newest lineup of flagship handsets called the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone. The phones share powerful hardware and have new features like 5G connectivity and screens with a higher, 120Hz refresh rate. Preorders begin February 21 through March 5 and will land in stores March 6.
The 6.2-inch Galaxy S20 is the smallest phone of the group, followed by the S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra, which both have a 6.9-inch display. The Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra all have a wide-angle, telephoto and ultrawide cameras, but the S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra have one extra camera. This fourth one is a time-of-flight camera that measures depth for AR applications. The S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra start at $1,000, $1,200 and $1,400, respectively
The Galaxy Z Flip has a 6.7-inch foldable glass display. The phone will also have two wide-angle cameras. The Galaxy Z Flip cost $1,380 and goes on sale on Feb. 14th in Mirror Purple, Mirror Black and in select countries, Mirror Gold. That glass body really is mirrored too. Compared to the Motorola Razr, the Z Flip is cheaper and have more cameras.
